Our Impact in
the Community
Environmental stewardship at Archean begins with how we make our products. Our salt, bromine, and sulphate of potash are produced from natural sea brine using solar evaporation — an inherently low-carbon process. We operate a comprehensive zero liquid discharge system at the Hajipir plant, recycle process water, and harvest rainwater at scale.
In FY 2025-26 we generated 52,092 MWh of clean energy through our hybrid renewable system, harvested 49,89,890 kL of rainwater, and reduced Scope 1 emissions from 75,631.92 to 66,771.59 tCO₂e. Our progress is reported annually through the Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report.

Key Initiatives
Solar Evaporation Technology
Bromine and salt extraction uses solar evaporation of natural brine from the Rann of Kutch — an inherently low-carbon process that eliminates thermal energy in primary extraction.
Zero Liquid Discharge
A comprehensive ZLD system operates at the Hajipir plant. No effluent is discharged into the environment; all process water is treated and recirculated within the facility.
Clean Energy Generation
52,092 MWh of clean energy was generated through a hybrid renewable energy system in FY 2025-26, including 19,46,335 kWh of solar generation. Coal consumption reduced by 1,500 MT per month.
Rainwater Harvesting
49,89,890 kilolitres of rainwater was harvested in FY 2025-26, reducing dependence on external water sources in the ecologically sensitive Rann of Kutch region.
GHG Emissions Reduction
Scope 1 emissions fell from 75,631.92 to 66,771.59 tCO₂e and Scope 2 from 19,850.05 to 12,615.51 tCO₂e in FY 2025-26 — a meaningful year-on-year reduction.
BRSR Reporting
Archean publishes a comprehensive Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report annually in compliance with SEBI LODR Regulations, covering all material ESG metrics.
