Silicon Carbide is a wide bandgap semiconductor material suited to high voltage, high temperature, and high efficiency power electronics, offering lower conduction and switching losses, reduced cooling needs, smaller form factors, and fast charging capability. Archean's product line spans SiC MOSFETs, SiC Diodes, Known Good Dies, and Power Modules. Clas-SiC Wafer Fab Limited, established in June 2017, is a UK based dedicated Silicon Carbide wafer foundry specialising in advanced SiC process modules and design kits for MOSFETs and Diodes, powering electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, and industrial applications. Archean has invested GBP 15 million in Clas-SiC, and SiCSem has executed an exclusive technology license agreement with Clas-SiC for Fab process technology.

Zinc bromide electrolyte supports long-duration energy storage systems for renewable energy and grid stability applications. Offgrid Energy Labs is developing patented zinc-bromide battery technology designed for multi-hour daily stationary energy storage. The water-based electrolyte architecture is non-flammable by design and contains no lithium, cobalt, nickel or rare earths. Archean has invested in Offgrid, creating direct strategic synergy with Archean's bromine business. Archean supplies the zinc bromide-based electrolyte required for battery chemistry, enabling downstream participation in the energy-storage value chain. Applications include renewable energy storage, industrial power support, data centre resilience, and remote microgrids worldwide.
